B&B Pronkenburg

A phantastic place, an old flamish farm house, renovated with passion and a good feeling for special atmospheres, surprising and comfortable; all rooms in different style, you can stay and travel around the world. Charming living with a large table and a phantastic fireplace for all guests. A real place, with a lot of space for dreams, thoughts, feelings and discussions - round the table, together with other guests or together with Axel and Guy, the very nice and friendly hosts. Oh, I forgot the wonderful garden ... So, it's a place to be, where you stay for a little while, to live a great one. A place, where you want to come back.

We were lucky to fall upon this gem. The owners Axel and Guy Carpentier are charming, engaging and welcoming individuals who are fluent in at least three 3 languages we know of. Visit their website and all the images you will see are the real thing. The rooms, the service and breakfast were all impeccable. This manor offers 4 superbly decorated bedrooms, extensive and beautiful gardens, a jacuzy, outdoor patio, fireplace. We originally planned on staying only one night but we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to stay another night.

Pronkenburg is a wonderful place to be. So wonderful in fact that you do not wish to share it with anyone else. But that would indeed sell the gracious host and hostess short. If you enjoy beauty, serenity and kindness, this is the place to be. A Petit Paradise.

Das gesamte B&B war neu und liebevoll saniert. Bei der Sanierung wurde leider wurde nicht daran gedacht, daß die Zimmer abschließbar sein sollten. Ich war als Frau allein unterwegs. Daher war es für mich ein großer Sicherheitsmangel. Das Bad war klein und wurde mit einem Vorhang vom Zimmer getrennt. Das B&B war ca. 10 km von der Küste entfernt. Wenn man vorbeifuhr, konnte man es leicht übersehen. Der gesamte Bereich war sauber.
