Hyllit ****

Het hyllit Hotel is een mooi hotel. We hebben even moeten zoeken want de navigatie kwam er op het eind evn niet meer uit.....Uiteindelijk wel gelukt en de auto geparkeerd onder het hotel (kost 17 euro). Fijn dat die mogelijkheid er was. Al was de garage wel donker en de plekken nogal krap. Er waren allerlei werkzaamheden in het hotel waardoor het af en toe wat onhandig was met de liften en de receptie in een klein hoekje was gezet. Dat leverde wat drukte op bij het uitchecken. Personeel en service was wel prima! Ook de kamer was mooi ingericht, schoon en ruim. "s morgens bij het ontbijt ook wat chaos. Kleine ruimte voor teveel mensen en daardoor een rij. Ook waren veel dingen al op en het duurde even voor het werd aangevuld. De ligging tenslotte was ook prima. Praktisch naast het station. Je hoefde de straat maar te volgen en was binnen no time op de Meir (winkelstraat).

I stayted several times in hyllit hotel in antwerp.Mostly I stayed for business. But I am sure that it is really good for vacation too. Rooms are really big if you compare with specially german hotels. And breakfast is fantastic. if you have a good breakfast you dont need anything else during day. Staff is really friendly. There is Wifi so I can manage my works as if I am in office. They have swimming pool and gymm. Location is really great it is close to central station and bust stations for airpot.

My stay in this hotel was a good experience and I would recommened the hotel, though I found it a bit expensive! There are nearby hotels that are less expensive though they do not offer the same ambience. The kind and courteous stff at the reception made the check in process very smooth. The Executive Room was pretty large and well equipped. The bed, bathroom, TV, free intenet etc. made the stay comfortable. The breakfast spread, even for a vegetarian like me, was very good and delicious. Throughout my stay of 4 days, I was well looked after! However, there is scope for improvement - a coffee / tea making facility in the room was sorely missed - Even smaller hotels in the area provide this - I hope the hotel makes this available soon!

Booked a junior suite as a last minute deal, which was a good price including breakfast. Overall an enjoyable stay, glad to have booked the last minute deal, full price would not have been worth it. The junior suite was very big, with a bedroom and a big living room (tv area and desk area). The decor was okay, but not the most modern looking design. The bathroom however was very basic, I expected more of it as we had booked a junior suite. Also, the suite was a bit cold, and the heater seemed to have problems heating the entire suite. Location was good close to the central station, and also easy to reach by car. There are some constructions going on in front of the hotel, making the drive there a bit harder.

Stayed one night in a newly renovated Executive Room. The room is quite large and nicely decorated. The bed was rather hard, but OK. We ate at the hotels Italian restaurant (you had to exit the hotel to access it) and it was very nice. The breakfast was of good quality. Good hotel in Antwerp!
