"Excellent service!"

"Fantastic stay at a grand old hotel!"
We stayed here for one night at the beginning of January before taking the train to London the next day. We booked the room through the hotel's website and got a very reasonable rate. The hotel is walking distance of the Grand Place, metro, restaurants, shopping, etc. And what a beautiful hotel! The lobby and reception areas are very ornate and elegant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bathroom was large. We stayed in Room 503 on the fifth floor at the front of the hotel and the windows opened onto a nice view of the boulevard. Can't wait to stay here again the next time we're in Brussels.

"Would stay again."
Metropole Hotel's exterior is just plain, but when you step inside you'll be awed (that's just probably me). Very classy place, friendly staff- they booked our day trips with ease, and the coach just stops outside the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, ample toiletries, and free mini-bar! My husband drinks lots of water and we never had to buy a bottle as the mini-bar's contents were always replenished. Breakfast was superb! And the price was very affordable for a 5 star hotel. There is a metro station just outside the hotel, but we never used it as we used the hop -on hop-off bus during our stay. Just next tot he hotel there is a small eatery/restaurant, can't remember the name but they serve really delicious chicken menus! you should try them! Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.and if we go back to Brussels, will definitely stay here again .

"charming hotel"
the hotel is very understated from the outside, but once you enter the entrance hallway this chages very quickly. The hotel is a delight, with a classic touch that seems to be lacking in modern hotels. immediatly we noticed how clean the hotel is, as well as being so beautiful. The staff were immmediatly available to check us in, and the concierge took our bags to our room, which was a nice touch. We had a very large room with a complimentary mini-bar. The room comprised of a entrance area, dressing room area, toliet and bedroom. There was plenty of space, and plenty of wardrobe space to hang your clothes. The room also had a safety deposit box, large television and telephone. The toilet and the room were both also very clean and fresh. We were very much impressed with this hotel and especially with the feeling of grandure that the hotel created. This certainly makes it a very special place to stay! The downsides were that there was a no view what so ever, just an alleyway at the rear. But thats being very picky! I would highly recommend the metropole to anyone visiting brussels The cost of the hotel was very reasonable for 5 star. We stayed on a rate of £55 per night

"Great Hotel"
Check-in was not ideal, I did have to wait until the check in time of 3pm but fortunately I had friends staying in the same hotel who were able to check-in to their room when we arrived at 12:30. Apart from the later check-in everything else was great. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were roomy and included heating racks for towels and double vanities. The rooms were serviced promptly everyday and the complimentary mini bar was stocked with beer, coke and water daily which was nice to come back to after a long day of exploring the city. Metro is located just outside of the hotel door and connects you to the entire city. The restaurant within the hotel was a little expensive but there are a number of good value restaurants nearby as well as a cinema that screens films in English with foreign subtitles.
