Aazaert ****

We stayed at this hotel for one night (31/03/2012). The receptionist made us very welcome, explained the (free) wellness details and everyting else we needed to know - very professional. The same courteous and professional service was provided by all staff we came into contact with. The junior suite we had booked distinguished itself from a normal room by having a seating corner and a seperate shower as well as the bath. The room was spotless and all common areas were the same. Our room faced the front, which meant that the church bells could be heard despite the double glazed windows. The buffet breakfast was good and varied with diet options being available. The location of the hotel is very central (less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and casino), and there is no shortage of restaurants and shops in the area. Negative points - a wellness hotel should not have fitted carpets in the rooms and the old style television is just cutting unnecessary corners. Also the doors do not insulate sound very well, as we could hear late arrivals talking in the corridor. We had no time to explore the wellness area (unfortunately). The price of 149 Euros p/n (Junior Suite) + 16 Euros for parking is good value if you take advantage of the wellness area, so if we return, it will be to do precisely that.

We spent 3 nights at the Hotel Aazaert and had a wonderful time. The rooms were very nice (lots of room to put your stuff) and the bathroom quite spacious. Breakfast was excellent. First time ever we saw a buffet with a bottle of champagne to make yourself a Mimosa! The staff was extremely courteous and ready to do anything to make your stay enjoyable. We really recommend that hotel. The beach is wonderful, long stretches of fine sand. Eventhough the weather was cool, we were able to walk on the beach for hours.There is a tram that goes along the coast and it was very convenient hopping on it after a long walk. Lots of very good restaurants around the town as well.

Very good 4 stars hotel for reasonable price. Very helpful personel help with every request. Medium choice breakfast menu. Very good kitchem - every day new full menu - no other choice, but excellent quality. If you like French cousine its worth to go there. In hotel is 11m swimming pool available for all guests for free. Excellent meeting room with its own small terrace and open terrace open for all guests. Nice to reste there. Good choice. Hotel rooms are without minibar, but equiped with fritch, so you can bring drinks from bar next to reception at any time.

Beware, most rooms have no air conditioning and rooms at the front are too noisey to keep the windows open at night. Staff very helpful and polite. Nice 11m swimming pool. Clean and comfortable, no drink facilities in the rooms.
