This place is extra special the staff are very attentive and the room we stayed in had a nice view of the river and countryside.We ate in the Brasserie off...
This place is extra special the staff are very attentive and the room we stayed in had a nice view of the river and countryside.We ate in the Brasserie off the relax menu and the food was superb and not to pricey for the quality.Would have liked to have seen it in better weather as it rained all the time.

Auberge is not an Hotel, but an auberge!?!? And this is for sure one...
Forget negative judgment wrote about this place done by people THAT ARE NOT ABLE TO TRAVEL. Auberge is not an Hotel, but an auberge!?!? And this is for sure one of the best in Belgium: nice spot with a green terrace over a creek/river, cleaned room, smiling staff. After many years of spending time for business in Brussels, I decided to spend one week of holidays in Fiandre. It's simply extraordinary.... it looks like to be in france but with nice people. And this auberge is perfect for visit Bruge, Gent, ostenda....

We made reservations at the brasserie Green, and had the Bib Gourmand menu with the lobster! Well lobster? The oversized scampi was served with plain rice...! the starter was a canneloni of salmon,with 1/4 of an asperagues and a tiny piece of apple, dessert was nice! But the food we had in a neareby restaurant was much appreciated since we were hungry! The only thing that was sufficient was the bill!!!!!!! never again!

"Great place for a lunch."
If you are looking for a nice place with a good service, good food and great wine go to Auberge du Pecheur.
