"A good place to stay"
We stayed for one night on our way home, having stayed in De Zalm on the way out. I would recommend both hotels.

We stayed for one night on our way home, having stayed in De Zalm on the way out. I would recommend both hotels. There is free onstreet parking near De Swaen, and although it is not located directly on the central square, it is just around the corner from it. It is clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large, and we had a washbasin each. The bed had blankets instead of a duvet, which I don't like, but that's a personal thing. There was a kettle. There was also apparently free wifi, though I couldn't get it to work. The room was let down by the coat hangers. There were only three, and they were mismatched and tired looking. I don't understand why hoteliers scrimp on this cheap and easily fixed facility! But of course ageing coat hangers don't spoil your stay. Service was personal and friendly, and I found the breakfast excellent. There was a lot of fruit.

I stayed in this hotel for 6 weeks for business, It is a very friendly hotel. people are very helpful , friendly and happy. It is a clean and simple hotel. Rooms are clean . A nice, simple breakfast. All you need from shops to bars all close by... It is a very good place for Cycling and horse people....
