"we tried the restaurant"
we passed from two years in this hotel we did not tried the rooms we have bben in the restaurant for a dinner at halloween time the food is good also the service and the bar we checked the rooms it seems little bit small even to get up is little bit diffucult any how i will try it one day as it have a nice garden a very well decorated i like hotel inthis region

"Peaceful tranquility"
Very comfortable rooms, (devine mattresses and linen) in a tranquil garden setting surrounded by forest, about 2km out of Brasschaat, on a bus route. Unbeknown, one of the best chefs in Europe works his magic here with humble recognition. Beautiful formal dining area and lovely sunny breakfast dining room and scrumptuous fare -creamy scrambled eggs to yearn for, abundant array of freshly baked breads to over-stimulate the appetite and a cheese selection to write to Grandma about. The very warm, hardworking, friendly staff make you feel like part of the famly, so much so, that you feel genuinely sad to leave. Had we not had pre-paid accommodation ahead of us, we would have remained here for the duration of our two week trip! The town has many interesting shops, is surrounded by beautiful forests and parks and has several historical surprises. A half an hours drive to Antwerp, The Klokkenhof Hotel offers so much more than this writer has words to express.

"Good hotel but thin walls!"
We stayed here for one night en route from SW France to Netherlands. It's on the NE edge of Antwerp so well placed if you do not want to have to go centre of the city to find an overnighter. The immediate area looked very prosperous and quaintly rural in the area immediately behind the N1 road. The hotel reception is only open up to 10pm but we were delayed due to traffic around Paris so I rang the hotel and the guy on reception was so helpful. We guessed we'd arrive around11pm so he left our room key hidden for us and also left signs around the hotel (which was mostly in darkness inside!) to point us to our room. The room was clean & comfortable although not particularly spacious for Euros 85 per night. We slept ok until early morning when next door room occupants went to their bathroom and we literally could hear everything through the thin walls behind our headboard. This is our only negative about the hotel . Breakfast was included in the price and it was wonderful. Copious amount of excellent coffee, a good selection of meats, cheese, cereals, breads & pastries. Service was excellent and we were not hassled or hurried in any way, even though we were the last to take breakfast. We liked the look of the main bar/restaurant area and would have liked to have been around in that area to try the lunch menus - it looked good.
