"funny little friendly hotel for people visiting Siemens in Huizingen"
it's a friendly little 3-star thing, not bursting with amenities or professionalism, but staff are very friendly though not as much professional in the sense of the word they use it in 5* places :) Breakfast choice was very little, but scrambled eggs with bacon were very tasty. Rooms are small but have nice view. Beds are too soft, much softer that I like. Can't tell anything more really - I was spending days and nights at the Siemens big facility nearby. Yes, the big advantage of the hotel is that it is only 3 km from the big Siemens place which I think attracts a lot of visitors. It would be even nicer if price was less. 99 EUR is a bit too high for a small family run place like this one.

"not hotel - restaurant"
Service was great, let's start with that. However, the food was too complicated, too many different ingredients and tastes on same plate - too many wines - too many different experiences, and not all matching. Congratulation on the n° 2 housewine, that was good, probably the best wine of the whole meal I think they can mae things better by simplifying, trying to find the original taste back instead oof hiding it behind "too much"

"Small, very friendly, comfortable and decent value for the Brussels area."
I have stayed here many nights over the past couple of months and it has never been less than pleasant. Rooms are on the small side but beds are comfortable, bathrooms warm, the staff and owners, without exception, very helpful. Personal service at every level. The restaurant is exceptional (and for the British wallet, exceptionally expensive) but there are lots of cheaper restaurants and bars a short walk away. Breakfast is simple but fine. If you are coming to visit Brussels even, it would be a good idea to stop here and pay 3.20€ for the 10 minute train ride into the city. The station is very convenient.

"Friendly, convenient hotel"
I use this hotel for business travel, as it is conveniently located opposite the railway station . The hotel has an excellent resturant and comfortable rooms. The hotel is situated a short walk from the centre of Halle, where you can find numerous bars and resturants.

"A wonderful, small family-owned hotel"
I have traveled around the world and stayed at many hotels, big and small. Les Eleveurs is the finest small hotel I have ever visited. The staff is very friendly, personable, and helpful in every request and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The rates are very reasonable, and included free wireless internet and free car park. The phone in your room has a land line number and can be called without going through the hotel switchboard. Charges for phone calls made from the phone are passed along and not marked up to outrageous rates as with all hotel chains. This is totally consistent with the spirit of the owners, that is provide good value at reasonable rates, without trying to slip in extra charges here and there. Breakfast is included and is nicely done. Individual orders for eggs are taken, and there is a buffet that includes fruits, croissants, bread rolls, ham-cheese-salami slices, and more. Les Eleveurs' location is superb. Right next to the rail station in Halle. A short five minute walk and you are one (express) stop (10 minutes) from Brussels Midi station. If you are driving, it is not far from the motorway. And as for walking, you are located right on the edge of the Halle's centrum, with shops, restaurants, and even Saturday market outside your door. There is a supermarket and a coin-operated laundry behind the hotel. I hate to give away this secret, since I want it for myself, and I can speak only for the room I am staying in. It is wonderful and the owner told me it was recently renovated and modernized. If you are visiting for a special stay ask the proprietress, Madame De Brouwer (Amanda) for the deluxe room. I would also suggest that if you wish to dine in the award winning restaurant, you make reservations in advance. I had to wait several days before I could be seated for dinner. Everyone raves about the restaurant (my reservation is coming up soon) and I understand it is expensive. Do I recommend this hotel? Yes, absolutely. Will I return? Yes, absolutely.
