Malpertuus *

Nice, clean, quiet and very confortable place, especially if you are planning to stay longer. Good breakfast (inside the owner´s brasserie!) and, most of all, very friendly staff. Soon I arrived, I figured out I didn´t have a reservation (thanks to my travel agent...). The owner herself immediatly solved that and I could stay there for one month. Not only recommend it , but would definitetly stay there again.

found hotel on web. we travel to aalst at least once a year to visit family so we have tried all the hotels.the malpertuus is tops for us, we have booked for stays for march and may 2009. the apartments are large, clean bright also include breakfast, which can be taken in the garden, also our grand children enjoyed the vast space compared with with a family room in hotels the owners very nice they gave us a selection of cakes for our trip home

Malpertuus hotel-apartments are an extension of a well-known pastry bakery in Aalst. Recently completed (2008), the hotel apartments are large (consisting of bedroom, huge living room and kitchenette) and located in the middle of Aalst. Although no cars are allowed in this location (shopping center of Aalst is pedestrian only) a carpark is provided free-of-charge at walking distance (+/- 100m). Included in the price is an excellent breakfast. We found this hotel-apartment by luck over the internet, and it was exactly what we were looking/hoping for : something more personal then a hotel room, larger and with own cooking facilities. We found the price reasonable too. Highly recommended!

Soggiornato per la prima volta in questo albergo. La stanza e' un appartamento composto da soggiorno, cucina, bagno con doccia e camera da letto. Il letto e' ottimo. La prima colazione e' ricco con diversi panini, formaggio, prosciuto, uova e dolci che sanno fare solo in Belgio. L'aparthotel e' situato nel centro della citta', a cinque minuti dalla stazione ed a 1 minuto dal Grote markt. Consiglio vivamente questo albergo. L'unica cosa di ricordare: quando le luci sono accesi nel soggiorno, e' molto facile di vedere nella stanza dalla strada.
